Fuddy Duds

Hi Everybuddy! I got to spend the 4th of July visiting my pals Wilbur and Einstein. I love visiting Wilbur and Einstein because we always have so much fun playing together.

For some reason Wilbur wasn't in the mood to play with me. He just wanted to lie down on the deck with his chin on the railing like this...

Einstein had a hurty back and he didn't want to play with me either. Einstein hurt his back when he jumped off of the bed. He's feeling much better now.

Come on Wilbur... play with me!

*Sigh* Doesn't anybuddy want to play with me?

Here's a short video of me trying to play with Einstein. As you can see, I was being gentle with him but Einstein didn't feel like playing. Oh well... maybe he'll play with me next time.

My mom followed the instructions and this is the picture she found. It's the evil kitty checking me out while I was sound asleep. Look at the expression on the kitty's face... I don't think she likes me very much! BOL!

Happy Father's Day!

Hi Everybuddy! Since today is Father's Day, I'm going to show you some pictures of me and my dad. Here we are on the day my mom and dad adopted me.

Pilot and co-pilot... we go everywhere together.

Sometimes we share the Lazy Boy chair... see how nice I am? I left a little portion of the seat for my dad to sit on.

Here's my dad taking me to visit Sandy and Chelsea. They live across the street from us.

Look at how little I was!

My dad took me on easy hikes when I was a pup. We were on the Alpine Pedal Path in this picture.

I've been hiking with my dad ever since I was a little pipsqueak.

I love my dad because he doesn't get mad at me when I play in muddy water and get my paws all wet.

Now we're hiking to the mountaintops together! I hope all of my bloggie friends give their dads a smooch today. Happy Father's Day everybuddy!

Return To San Gorgonio - June 16, 2009

Hi Everybuddy! Today my dad and I hiked to the top of San Gorgonio again! It was cold at the top of the mountain. Believe it or not it even SNOWED on us for a little while! (You can click on the pictures to view a larger image.)

It's a little hard to see but I found a patch of snow to lie down on.

Hey Dad... is lunch ready yet?? I'm hungry!

Look! We found an easy button inside of a metal box on top of the mountain. When you press the button it says "Now THAT was easy!" My dad thought the button was funny but I didn't think it was funny at all. Hiking to the top of the mountain is not easy!

Dad took a picture of me next to the easy button. *Sigh*

I love to run around and check out the rocks and trees...

Santa Ana River - South Fork, June 9, 2009

Hi Everybuddy! Last week my dad and I went hiking along the Santa Ana River trail. Here I am looking very prim and proper. See how my paws are crossed? hehe!

Dad kept pestering me to look at the camera. "Ok dad... are you happy now?" Sheesh!

I love hiking along the Santa Ana River trail because it goes right along the river. (Which means lots of splashy time for me!)

Look at my wet paws! When I got home Mom said "but we just had him groomed a couple of days ago!!" Sorry mom but you can't expect me to go hiking and not get my feets wet!

Yoo Hoo! Can you see me? I'm hiding in the foliage in the center of the picture. You can biggify for a better view.

I hope everybuddy is having a nice weekend! Today I'm off to a rattlesnake aversion class with my dad.

Bathies!

Hello Everybuddy! Today I had a visit from Harvey the mobile pet groomer. My mom loves Harvey because he comes right to our house to give me a bathie. I was inside of the van when my mom took this picture... poor Harvey had to carry me into the van because I didn't want to go in on my own. For some reason he groaned when he picked me up.

After my bath my mom gave me a Bully Stick to chew on. "Hurry up Mom... give me the stick!"

Hey, this bully stick is pretty good!

Mom says my fur is super soft now (and I smell good too!)

Polly Piggy

Hello Everybuddy! My good friends Wilbur (the Basset Hound) and Einstein (the dust mop) gave me a present yesterday.

It's a Polly Piggy stuffie!

The tag says that Polly is extremely durable. (Mom says that means I won't be able to rip her up.) Hmmm... we'll see about that!

First I tried to bite her back...

Next I tried to pull off her tail... Grrr!

Gosh... this is tougher than I thought it would be.

I'm pooped! And all I did was manage to chew part of her tail off.

Mom says my tongue is the same color as Polly...

*Sigh* If I can't chew Polly up I may as well use her as a pillow. Zzzzz Zzzzz...
